Christmas Pomander’s are a really simple way to make you home look and smell that little bit more seasonal. decoration, not only that but they smell fantastic too!

Making a Christmas Pomander is very easy but can be quite time-consuming! Saying that it’s quite a relaxing way to while away a few hours by the fire on a cold winters night.
You will need:
- Oranges (or Satsuma’s for mini pomanders)
- Cloves
- Ribbon
- Cocktail Stick or Pin
- Greaseproof Paper

1: Simply take an orange or satsuma and pierce a small hole in the skin with a cocktail stick or pin. Then insert the stem of a clove into the hole, and repeat the process until the orange is covered in cloves.

2: You can mark out a pattern to follow or just make it up as you go along. Once the orange is covered in cloves, tie some ribbon around it, creating a loop that will allow you to hang the finished pomander on your christmas tree.
3: Wrap your finished pomander in greaseproof paper and store in a cool dark place for several weeks until it is hard and dry. The orange will shrink as it dries, but will be preserved creating a long lasting christmas decoration that will still smell great for years to come!
